Last time I wrote, I was feeling pretty defeated after a difficult evening out with autism and staring a family wedding in the face.

Prayers were answered with a HUGE success.

The wedding ceremony was lovely. The bride was beautiful. The groom was happy.Β  Christian and Brian hung out in the entry of the church, iPad in hand, no vocal stimming loud enough to be heard in the sanctuary. Success. πŸ™‚

Family pictures were taken. Success. πŸ™‚

Brian and I had decided to skip the dinner, knowing that this was the only way that we would be able to stay later into the night.Β The Golden Arches were visited.Β Happy Meals consumed. (HuHot for us “old folks.” πŸ˜‰ Delicious.) Little Einsteins watched. Poo taken (in the right spot!). Success.

Arrived at the dance a little bit early. Mood music playing. Christian danced. Other children joined in. Christian only tried to overtake the DJ “booth” twice. πŸ˜‰ Few glimpses of anxiety when the dance floor needed to be cleared. Quickly dissolved when dancing resumed. Caught self-ordering soda at the bar. πŸ˜‰ ❀ Loved the hokey-pokey, especially “That’s What It’s ALL About!” πŸ˜€ (Shouted at the top of his lungs.) Left dance at 10:20pm!Β  Definite success. πŸ™‚

We couldn’t have been more happy…
