Dearest Christian,

Yesterday you turned two months old — how fast time is flying already.

Today we are back on Grandma & Grandpa H’s farm after visiting Grandma & Grandpa V’s for two days.

You traveled so well (for your age) on our trip.  Friday, you spent 9 hours in the car.  We stayed at Mr. S’s house  in Georgia.  Saturday, we spent 11 hours in the car and drove to Indiana.  That was a long day!  You were a little bit fussier, but not bad.  Daddy and I knew you had enough after checking into the hotel — we went out to get the luggage — you took one look at the car and started crying and screaming.  Believe me — I felt the same way that day.  Sunday morning, Daddy and I got up really early and drove on so that we could go to church at the school where your daddy used to teach.  Everyone was so excited to meet you.  After church, we drove to Grandma & Grandpa’s farm.  You saw them and Uncle T again.  That evening we went to Uncle J & Auntie L’s house in town.  I think you were pretty happy to not be traveling in the car anymore.  Monday, you met my friend, MR.  You also met Great-Grandma H, and Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa K, and a bunch of great-aunts and great-uncles.  That seemed to be too many new people in one day for you, and you got very fussy.  Tuesday, you traveled to Grandma & Grandpa V’s house.  There we saw Auntie B and met Uncle R.  On Wednesday, you met Auntie C for the first time and Uncle R spent more time with you.  I don’t think you met, on wait, you’ll meet Uncle K for the first time in about a 1/2 hour.  Wow!  What a busy trip you’re having!

Mommy will write more later.

All my love,  Mommy
