• Monday — Christian goes back to school.  Upset about going back to school.  Even more upset that he didn’t get to ride the bus.  Upset that Olivia was along to drop off at and pick-up from school.  However, had a nice day at school.  I frantically cleaned picked-up the house while Christian was at school as we had the “post-vacation tornado” going on in the house and our friends from Reno were stopping in to see the house in the afternoon.  Sigh.  Christian has therapy that went well — yay.  The weather was nice, even a bit on the chilly side.  :)   Our blueberries are starting to change color.  Both kids napped late in the afternoon so…Olivia didn’t go to bed until 10pm.  Christian was up until almost midnight.  Sigh.
  • Tuesday (Today) — Olivia woke around 6am.  I convinced her to snuggle me in her bed for a couple of minutes and we both went back to sleep.  Christian didn’t wake up until 7:45 (therefore, me either), so we were rushing a bit to get off to school by 9 this morning.  Christian, again, upset about not riding the bus.  (Transportation is not an option for us for summer school.  It least he should be happy(?) to ride the bus to school again in the fall.)  Olivia stayed home with Brian while I picked him up — he seemed pretty excited about that!  (And he had another great day.  Mrs. R says “each day is getting better”  — good news!)  His therapist got here right after we walked in the door, so he decompressed for the first 1/2-hour of therapy “hiding” in his blanket/pillow pile in his room.  My niece is coming for awhile this afternoon while Grandma needs to take Great-Grandma into town.  Hopefully she and Olivia will be able to entertain themselves a bit.  Christian has another therapist coming later this afternoon for two hours.  Busy day!  I’m hoping that the kids will turn in a little earlier tonight.
  • Wednesday — is somehow July already!?!  Christian does the school thing.  (And Brian will not take a lunch break for the rest of the week as they are trying to get a hay crop off the fields.)  Then we are going to OT at the hospital.  Then we come home for 2-1/2 hours of therapy.  Hopefully a nice evening so we can play outside a bit.
  • Thursday — School in the morning.  Therapy in the afternoon with a new therapist in-training.  (At least she seems to be a natural.  It makes it that much easier to feel good about the job she is doing.)
  • Friday — No school, but therapy starts at 9am.  I have to drive 45-minutes to an leg ultrasound appointment once Brian gets home for lunch.  (Wait a minute, he said he has to be on the field for the rest of the week.  Crap!  How is that going to work out?!?)  Christian has more therapy later in the afternoon.  I need to do the bi-weekly shopping after supper that night.
  • Saturday — Brian does the morning milkin’ and then he and Olivia are going to leave with my in-law’s to head up to a cabin in Northern WI for a week.  So I will be needing to do laundry and packing for them before then.  Christian and I will be home for a few days by ourselves.  That should be nice, as Christian seems to be getting a little “sick” of Olivia and (I think) would benefit from a break from her for a few days.  Maybe he will actually be excited to see her again?!?  I can hope.  ;)   I heard that our neighbors are planning a pretty elaborate fireworks display in the evening, so Christian and I may spend some time in the backyard watching that.  :)   (Maybe the two of us can go to the county pool and ride the water slides together — he loves that!  I think that Brian is planning to take Olivia to her first movie in the theater while up North — that should be fun for her, too.  And doing lots of fishing with Grandpa and Daddy.)
